Use of % over 100, irks me 200% of the time.

Some variation on "you can tell when they're over the target when they start taking flak".

Advertisers that use the phrase "in store" when the phrase they should be using is "in the store" or "in the shop". I know that broadcast-media advertising costs £4.2Bn per nanosecond, but this is a poor reason to play fast and loose with the language of Shakespeare (forsooth).
Keep on with this, you bawcocks, and see what kind of hell your friendly neighbourhood Moggy has "in store" for you, you steaming ignorami.

Rusty's had his income cut off by that tower of morality, YouTube: "YouTube has blocked Russell Brand making money from his videos on the platform The comedian and actor faces accusations of rape, sexual assaults and emotional abuse, which he denies "If a creator's off-platform behaviour harms our users, employees or ecosystem, we take action to protect the community," YouTube says." Ecosystem, community. Goodness me, what tossers.

Not really words but I've been involved in recruiting someone for the first time in years. Is it normal to have half the candidates you invite for interview to respond that they can't make that date and time and could they have another date and time? Really? When I was applying for jobs I'd make sure I was at every interview at the time I was allotted. The only genuine reasons to ask for a change is if you're in hospital or at the funeral of a close relative. Even then it's on Teams so...

I'm flabbergasted. Just had an email from a candidate asking if we can do the interview now as he's "a bit busy" this afternoon. What the actual fcuk? It's not just me is it?

South Cambridgeshire College of Hairdressing and Public Health. I wonder if the online aspect has something to do with it? People regarding it as a bit more of a causal thing because it's not in person.

It’s possible that the candidate already has a real job and doesn’t want to tip their boss off that they’re applying to another gig? So they can only find specific slots of get to interviews - particularly as the modern interview process can sometimes have loads of interviews where you meet one person after another.
Or, perhaps they’re just an entitled idiot who doesn’t understand that other people - even Mids - might have demands on their time.

You shouldn’t give someone a job just because they look like you.

He's not getting the job. He was the only male and the only white person we've interviewed so far so he's got no chance.

Times have changed. It is not unusual for companies to offer a 'slot' of the applicant's choosing, for interview.

Harvey Weinstein insisted that applicants offered him his prefered slot.

If no one's mentioned it yet, "tons". Can't wait for that one to go out of style. There are many/numerous/myriad/copious/countless/various/umpteen other words to choose from.

Do people say "tons" all that much? I'd probably say loads.
