Haha. I have to give a presentation today. I think I'll use that.

Whilst ideate is in most dictionaries worth their salt, I agree with andy - it's a horrible word.
To cheer myself up, I'm now going to use my favourite word: "inchoate".
Oooh ... goosebumps!

Let's de-inchoate that report and get it over the line.

Also, if insane is okay, why not spastic?

Also, if insane is okay, why not spastic? It’s a very good question. Friends with mental health issues have pointed out that using “insane”, “mental”, “nuts” etc is something it might be wise to think about depending on who you’re talking to. It’s not reliably safe language, any more than flid and spastic.

Well, flid isn't quite the same as spastic (except in the context of HM Opposition) as spasticity is a medical term, whereas flid is unequivocally mocking. Spaz, spazzer and spack are equivalent.

I've noticed a thiiiing. That might be neeeeew. It's probably Americaaaaaan. It's similar to that rising inflection thing but I think it's different. It sounds like people are reading a liiiist. Every last word is elongateeeed. And inflects slightly upwaaaard. At the eeeend. Has anyone else noticed it? It's fucking annoying.
