Until relatively recently, the only Arlo I'd heard of was Guthrie and I assumed it was a made up hippy name. It turns out to be an old English name. I might reconsider.

It's OK if you've written, say, This Land Is My Land. [Edit: Ah! Baloo already made that point, but I hadn't bothered to turn the page.]

Nobody's actually called Jack are they, except kids of idiot Millennial parents who don't know anything. Vinnie? Seriously? That's even worse than Alfie. Lots of people are called “Jack”. Loads.

The top birds names are: Olivia Amelia Isla Lily Ava Freya Ivy Sophia Grace Willow Mia Isabella Daisy Elsie Evie Florence Ella Emily Evelyn I hate the name Ava with a passion. It also shows Muslims are clearly FAAAAAR more adventurous with girls names.

Which begs the question: why are there no muslim girls in Britain? Is Islam dying out? Is that the whitest list of names ever? Are we finally becoming a great Aryan Nation? Muslims families only have boys. Surely you know that by now.

Top birds muslim name is apparently Layla, at 31. And I've known a lot of non-muslim Laylas so I'm not sure that really counts. Further down the muslim list apparently are Maryam, (Naturally more ample)ima, Nur, Aisha, Zahra and Raya, but I've no idea what number.s That’s interesting. On that list the only name I have come across in real life is “Aisha”. I knew loads of “Shazia”’s but that maybe more Pakistani than Muslim.

Who the fcuk called their girl Olivia other than pretentious wankers? We call our youngest always by the short version of his name but the full name is what he was registered as on his birth certificate My friend’s daughter is called “Olivia” (although everybody refers to her as “Olive”). Ironically, my friend is Muslim.

And Australians have a pathological hatred of calling anybody by their full name. So he would be a Theo anyway so may as well go straight for that.

Or if he has a one syllable surname they'll add an "y" to it, like Jonesy or Smithy, or if it's a long name, take the first syllable and add an O - Cumberbatch to "Cumbo", etc. Whatever it is, they won't use "Theo"

Is it perhaps Islamophobic to ask why Fatima or Aisha or Maryam doesn't appear in the Top 20 girls' names? I suppose the latter two I get, but Fatima?

Are you confusing them with Indians and Chinese. Are you saying no Indians or Chinese are Muslims? You think it’s Muslim-Chinese / Muslim-Indian parents who are behind sex selective abortions in those countries?

Are you saying that the BBC's list of the most popular boys' and girls' names are from China and India?
