As Carl Friedrich Gauss is rumoured to have said, "... the Queen of the sciences ..." - though I trust he didn't mean me personally.
Except at the weekend, of course.

We can pay Rwanda 120 million quid for doing absolutely nothing and it will still be cheaper, more effective, and less nasty than the Tory plan was.

Di (who I've met) looks unwell. Her hands were very shaky in Parliament. Has she got Parkinson's?

Darkinson's, she calls it.
I expect it's PTSD or something like that. Working her ticket. Fourth plinth and all that.

It might be DTs. She is known to have behavioural issues around booze.

It strikes me that many of the concerns around illegal immigration are mirrored in those of invasive species in the environment. The uncontrolled introduction of unsuitable variants leads to disruption and costly removal. Ultimately, even those that can adapt and find a foothold, only do so at the expense of the local ecosystem and add little value.
Bindweed, rabbits, mink, syphilis etc.

I suppose something can spring in a void, but sounds won't transmit. Sounds about right.

How so? If the failed Rwanda plan were to trigger the projected £120M transfer from the UK- to the Rwanda government, and the plan is subsequently withdrawn before even the first flight has taken off then, at best, Rwanda can only expect an ex gratia payment (which is fair) as opposed to the full £120M estimate (which is not). Good crap spin. This. Here's the Rwandan position. No surprises here. "The Party of Business" spaffs yet more treasure up the wall on an unsafe country offering an undeliverable service that appears to have "unstopped" the majority of boats coming across the channel. Unbe-f*ck*ng-lievable.
Don't be surprised if we find out that Badenoch, Braverman, Patel, Sunak et al have relatives or friends in Rwanda. No really - don't be surprised.
PPE anybody?
