Can't help thinking if someone posted some images of Nazi Zionist behaviour in Lebanon and Palestine you would be screeming about propaganda.
Can't help thinking your motive for posting this is to dare someone to say something.
Exactly the same things are happening now, there is no lesson to be learnt.
WW2 happened a long time ago.
Lots of people suffered. Not just Jews.
Get over it already!

What a good job this poster reminded me. I was just about to forget the slaughter of millions of people of all nationalities and races during WW2. Phew! Close shave there!

Politicizing the Holocaust has got to be a new low. Oh wait, you cannot possibly sink any lower. Your pure hatred of the Jews is sickening. And please give up on your Nazi-like cynical attempt to draw any comparison between the Holocaust and the Arab-Israeli conflict. No one believe in your crap. It is utter sh*t for two reasons, and frankly I don't know which is more offensive: equating Israel with Nazis suggests Israel builds gas chambers and has a stated goal of exterminating millions of people. Equating the Palestinians with European Jews suggest European Jews somehow perpetrated terrorist attacks against Germans, that Jews fired rockets into German homes, towns and villages, and the Jews have a stated intention of overthrowing the German state, pushing ethnic Germans into the North Sea, and establishing a Jewish state on its ashes. As for my motive of posting this thread, today is Holocaust Memorial Day. And there is a saying that goes: if you have nothing good to say, say nothing. You obviously don't follow this rule, choosing to use the occasion of commemorating the most evil period of 20th Century history to peddle your Nazi hate (Jews should get over and forget the slaughter of six million of their own? WTF?). You are a pathetic loser. May you rot in hell. I actually think, and I mean this without sarcasm, that more could be done to make people aware of this. Or maybe I walk around with my head in the clouds but the significance of today had passed me by.
Shame that we do forget, either by ignoring other atrocities, or giving into the same kind of hatred which lead to, and leads to holocausts.

The holocaust which happened to the Jews[personally I think Hiroshima was just as bad]but anyway it was incredibly evil. I don't blame the Jews for remembering it because there is still prejudice in this world. However I think that it's also true that others suffered in WW2 and WW1. Things[shite] happen and we have to get on with life in my view. We all suffer form prejudice or hardship at some time or another unfortunately[if you don't then rejoice] and if we remain true to ourselves then we become stronger. What you shouldn't do is be inspired or over-awed by your persecutor to the extent that you take on their attributes. Evil though they may be they are also weak individuals who are losers. So don't copy them.

What a hauntingly beautiful song. Schindlers List belongs on the chit chat best song ever thread.

Politicizing the Holocaust has got to be a new low. Yet at every and any opportunity the Nazi Zionists and their apologists bring it up to counter any criticism of Israel. The reality is the murders of Jews in WW2 is a gold mine for Zionists. They have and continue to milk it for all it's worth. For years, almost no-one, my self included, dare say anything at all for fear of being branded anti-semetic. But mass murder after mass murder done by Nazi Israel and the tide is turning. Ordinary people are increasingly standing up to the lies, the distortions and the blackmail.

Point of order Tarrant: Twas you who raised Israel/Palestine on this thread.
And I think you are beyond pathetic to genuinely believe that many Jewish people see the holocaust as a 'goldmine' because it means they got their own state. Do you truly believe that?

I did raise it here. It seems to be raised whenever Israel is discussed. Is there any other country in the world, in the history of the world that to criticise brings accusations of race hatred and aspirations to revive the Murders of WW2? As for your second point What sort of place would Israel be if the murders had not occured? Would it even exist? Which country, anywhere, ever, would get away with the sort of Nazi behaviour that Israel routinely gets away with with such impunity? China invaded Tibet. World wide condemnation. Rightly. Can you hear the protests of anti-sino-ism from the Chinese? Russia invaded numerous countries. Worldwide protests. Rightly. Did you hear any protests of anti-slavism from the Russians?

Tarrant, I really cannot take you seriously if you genuinely, genuinely believe that Israel is akin to Nazi Germany. If you do, either your historical knowledge is woeful or you seem to think Nazism isn't that big a deal.

Speeches were made condeming the European holocaust and the genocides in Rwanda, Darfur, Mumbai, Bosnia, by a variety of speakers including the Mayor, Leader of the Council, two rabbis, two catholic priests, one protestant priest, a Hindu priest and a schoolboy from the local comprehensive. Notably absent were any representatives from our Muslim community or the nearby mosque.

That's your choice vania.
I really cannot understand why you can't see past your emotions.
Someone whose family is murdered is a victim of the murderer.
But if that victim murders someone else, they are a murderer.
Just like the scum who murdered their family.
The term Nazi is generic. It is fit for the purpose, describing Israel's behaviour.
We refer to Mugabe as a Nazi.
We refer to the regime in Burma as Nazi.
We do this because that is what they are.
To avoid using the term for Zionists is preposterous and outrageous.

Well I'm no anti - Jew, no Holocaust denier. In the last couple of years I've paid for one of my daughters to visit Ann Frank's house in Amsterdam, Dachau and latterly Auschwitz. These experiences have greatly helped to round her education and without doubt make her a better human being.
On a totally different matter - I am diametrically opposed to the inclusively Jewish state that currently rules by military force in Palestine.

You think the Christian hating Arabs would return the favor to you? They'd rather fly planes into your capital cities and blow up your trains and buses and nightclubs. Do you people have blinders on? Can you possibly be obtuse enough to ignore all that and side with the arabs? Unbelievable.

Thanks Charles for posting the video at the top of this thread. Very thought provoking, I think it's impossible not to be touched by seeing the horrific images of the prisoners of concentration camps. It makes me realise how lucky i am today, so what about the weather and money! These images must never be forgotten or permitted to be.
I read Primo Levi's account of his imprisonment at Auschwitz, it made my blood run cold and was deeply distressing. I felt compelled to read what he had witnessed and suffered. I will never forget it. He showed great presence of mind and never recovered from his experiences. He committed suicide in the late 80's.

NY, it is simple for me. I oppose people who walk off a boat and take native people's land and property at the point of a gun. It happened in America * and it happened in Palestine. You Yanks don't have an issue with it because they copied you. * The one (noticeable) lie in Obamma's Inauguration speech was when referred to the American 'West' being 'settled' - he was that busy (correctly) reminding America about injustices to African Americans that he totally lied about the conquest and annihilation of hundreds of thousands of native people. Stolen land - just like Palestine. 'settled' - sure

Call it survival of the fittest.
