Apparently if convicted the US will let him serve any time in Australia.

Of course, it's quite possible to say that the State Department (?) has had a right result here. The two main players have lost public support and become laughing stocks. Both have come to be portrayed as dodgy, creepy, unreliable users and sexual deviants. Their lives and reputations are ruined.

Heard this morning that he exposed loads of innocent people who had tenuous links with the USA, like friends over there for example, which caused them to be taken by security forces of the country they were living in. His attitude to that was that shouldn't have been friends with yanks, so f*ck them.
