I love getting home and living off plain roasted cod and plain steamed broccoli for a whole week.
That and some fruit and I start feeling unclogged.

There should be bacon tests and beer tests at our borders, and also regular random police spot-checks with bacon and beer.
If people refuse to eat bacon, or refuse beer, they should be deported, either to their countries of origin or to the Falklands if they're British.
If they prefer streaky bacon cooked to a crisp to back bacon (and Stella to a decent ale) they should be given only a limited time to stay in the UK.
