I get my children's fairy tales mixed up, but wasn't he nailed to a tree on the Friday and became a zombie on Monday? Though why rabbits lay eggs on Sunday is a bit of mystery.
Easter being the first Sunday after the full Moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox is about the most pagan thing ever btw.

Hey, whatever.
I'll celebrate anything if it's drinks all round. Easter, Diwali, Eid...

I celebrate good Friday the most cos I'm at work getting triple time, and easter Mondays not too shabby as I get double though only for 7 hours as I'm on the Sunday night.

It's a beautiful spring day here. About 14 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

Happy Easter everyone. I started throwing up at about 11 am yesterday and finished at about midday today. I have spent the time since with pain like someone dragging half a brick through your guts and some truly impressive bouts of diahorrea.
Feeling nauseous and battered with a nasty pain in my side.
Mmmmm .... colitis. Was supposed to be going to Cornwall tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that. Bad kebab? That could equally go in the SNP thread.

Haha. No, but I think I need to make some lifestyle changes and allow it to clear up properly. I've had a few run-in with this recently and I think the problem is that I carry on as normal as soon as I feel better and actually I need a good long period of abstinence.
If only there was a useful reminder of that at this time of year.

colitis is nasty, had a few patients who've ended up loosing quite a bit of bowel/intestine cos of it. And like almost all autoimmune disorders the best we can is manage symptoms rather than cure it. Though some interesting genetic studies are going on, it will be years before we know if they will work.

I don't get the 'Misogynist' post. There's some who say Mary Magdalene was at the Last Supper. So it would have been eleven glasses of water and a Babycham.
